Libya making big ticket weapons purchases

Libyan purchase ticket:

12x Su-30MK(L) Strike Flanker
12x MiG-29SMT Fulcrum
S-300PMU-2 long-range SAM
20x Tor-M1 short-range SAM
2x Project 636 submarine

totalling $1.723 billion.

Moscow reports about $2.2 billion sale and hopes to double the figure in the future.
