light helicopters

I havent really kept up on helicopters in the last decade, but Ive heard the new generation of light helicopters is dominated by the french. Ofcource now the french companys are merged into eurocopter. Ive heard because of their advanced rotor design their capable of fixed wing type manuevers.

Three helicopers of the old generation would be the hughes 500D which is light and responsive but Ive heard its performance is degraded when carrying loads. The jet ranger is very reliable and autorotates well, but not a high performance chopper. And the MMB 105 which was advanced for its time, but now has been superceded by newer eurocopter versions.
