If you check the story now it has been downgraded to a brake seizure. No gear collapse. No crash. No story, one might suggest!! :rolleyes:

Well the news gets better. 1) there were no casualties 2) the aircraft is repairable. That’s good enough for me

Could possibly have worded that slightly better… it appears from this report – http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/south_yorkshire/4271447.stm – that the aircraft had already landed, but suffered a nosewheel leg collapse. ‘Crash’ is quite alarmist…
