i have posted this in another thread with not many replies so here goes.
as you drive from Dereham to Fakenham, just before you get to the mileham crossroads the is a bungalow on your left.
behind this bungalow is a Lightning under a tarp.
does anyone know anything about it ?
Another plane i have spotted is a spitfire in a garden near theend of Newquay airfield – again any info ?

Same chap had a Victor nose, hunter and some others about five years ago when I travelled that way a lot. Seem to remember that the house is a bungalow just to the east of the Dereham Fakenham road. I think that the Carvair cockpit used to be at Thorpe Abbotts but I could be mistaken, that might have been a DC4 or DC6.

I think the Carvair was ex Southend – CF-EPV
Not sure about the Lightning though?

That link isn’t much help I’m afraid. “This Page Under Construction”.
Well, works fine for me.
Takes you to Barry Wallonds website. If your still having trouble, go to Google and type his name in 😀
