I have just bought a two part mould for casting a metal 10cm x 8cm P38 Lightning. I would like to cast the models from original P38 aluminium, if this is possible.
I am looking for some genuine P38 parts wich are no use in restoration or are not suitable for display. What price would I need to pay for what is essentially scrap.
This made me think what does happen to all these parts when an aircraft is restored ?

Jet Provost Mk4
Do’es anyone have any photo’s of Jet Provost T4 cockpit. I am rebuilding one at Dumfries Museum but we only have T3 pilots notes and the T4’s instrument panel and side walls are completely different.
