lightning survivors

Hi all

Ok so after yeserdays thred on the parkhouse aviation Lightning i thougted id start a thred on surviving lightnings and lets see some pics from everyones collections. So to sart of here is a pic of my big toy F.3 XP706. so come on all you jet fans lets not let the prop boys hog the limelight lets see them lightning pics. and on the same lines as the vulcan thred whick lightning has the best future and which ones deserve to be homed indoors.

I would imagine that it was mounted like that to give i a flying look and if i had a lightning in my garden i think id have mine as close to my house as i could

Why is that lightning in the garden and not in a more protected space? She looks in good nick really it is a shame to see her mounted like that.

Hi all

More great photos, next time i go down to cornwall i must get photos of the lightnings down there. Sad to see the pics of the lightnings at binbrook just waiting for the scrapman but at least we saved some of them.

WHAT?

When we used to fill those white plastic bottles up, with the long flexi spout on some would spill on the ground, the worms would come screaming out of the ground like F3’s on reheat!

My God I must have handled Squillions of quids worth of Avpin (IsoPropylNitrate)

Ill be working that weekend (Booooo) but enjoy your look around XP706 isnt in the public area so if you wanna have a look ask someone and im sure they will take you round the back to have a look. I warn you now she dont look too good at the min with only half a wing and wires hanging out all over the place.
