Wide bodies are still fairly fare at Liverpool. Last summer a MyTravel DC-10 was operating quite often. You do get some interesting aircraft when there is a big football match happening, this can bring in large aircarft, seen Corseair 747 before & Martinair DC-10.

why is that atlantic airlines aircraft always there in the same position? When I was there it was in the exact same place as in Grey area’s pics!!

Not at the moment.

Over the last year or so that i have been working there the only ones i have seen have been football related, day charter trips (especially Kiddies lapland trips at xmas), or i think the one on a divert off the top of my head.

They’re a bit cleaner these days, but reflections on the glass and the position of the sun can still pose problems.

I flew on that ATR 42 this evening. Or at least, the sister ship PH-RAK, on EuroManx flight 3W412 LPL-IOM.

Danairboy: they hand out OJ inflight, and hand out boiled sweets from a wicker basket before landing! No food, but in mitigation flight time was under 25 minutes this evening.
