A bit of biase there Easyjet B737 – it the biggest operator here but there are plently of others!
Here are the current LPL listings that I usually see running through here…
EZY – Have 7 B733/7 Aircraft currently based at LPL. This will apparently shortly go up to 8 and according to reliable sources see an A319 routing through from Feb on the Geneva run. 3 of the 7 here at tho moment are B733 G-IGOB, B737 G-EZJW/H – Dont really take much notice any more as I only need a couple of the -300s.
Euromanx currently operate Rossair ATR-42 aircraft through here, with the Beech 1900 appearing every now and again. PH-RAK is the usual but PH-RAQ operated it this evening.
Ryanair operate a 3x daily Dublin service. The first aircraft is usually an Islandsflug B734 (Usually TF-ELD), and the other 2 flights by B732. The airline has recently announced it will be dropping its daily B738 flight to CRL and operate a GRO run with the B738 from Feb.
British Regional currently operate the ATP though here although this will be suspended in March… listern out for details here!
VLM will shortly be arriving to operate a 5x Daily London City service with Fokker 50 aircraft. Apparently rumours are this could rise to 8x daily with a second based aircraft to cover for either LPL or MAN tech difficulties.
Jetmagic currently operate on the Cork run twice daily with E145.
MyTravel have an A320 based here throughout the Summer season, but this only operates from Thurs over the weekend during winter. Current aircraft G-YBLM.
Britannia Airways have a based B752 here in the Summer but operate infrequent charters through the winter.
Atlantic Airlines have a L188 based for a MON-THU TNT freight service to Liege. This aircraft daystops.
TNT operate the above flight on a Friday with a BAe 146-300QT which arrives from EDI and departs to DUB.
Channel express operate 3x Fokker F27 aircraft through here on a weeknight with 2 departures to LGW and 1 to BOH. They also have won the contract to fly LPL-BFS with a B733QC, although this is currently flown by Islandsflug’s TF-ELM pending arrival of their own QC aircraft.
and finally…
Emerald Airways. We operate upto 7 HS-748 aircraft through here on any given evening on Newspaper and mail flights, as well as our scheduled freight services to the Isle of Man. Will shortly be aquiring ATP aircraft, of which 3 will be Passenger configured and used on routes out of Liverpool. It’s not often we now operate the SD-360s through here any more, but we do operate an Antonov AN-26 on lease from RAF-Avia of Latvia registration YL-RAE.
Throughout the week in summer all the usual Spanair/Europa/BH Air/Futura aircraft can be seen, but this again is limited during the winter!
Rumours are also rife about a new MD-82 start up from here utilising ex-SAS machines and being run by former MyTravel management known as A to (or 2) B.com to commence operations shortly. Another one to listern out for!
Hope that just about sums it up for now.
p.s. as not being local the best place for viewing s… The office window! 😀 err… only place i could suggest is the Terminal cafe although apparently you can get to the end of Rwy 27 easily.
