Last year we very cautiously held our first Aviation fair on the apron of the old Liverpool ‘Speke’ Airfield. This was a charity event raising money for the Jetstream Club (http://jetstream-club.org), the local Marie Curie Cancer Hospice and the local RSPCA.
This year, we want it bigger. The bigger the better!
So, this post is to send out a plea to all cockpit owners and other suitable parties inviting them to take part. We may be able to help with diesel/petrol costs, and if you would like to make a weekend of it and stay in the lovely Marriott Hotel which now occupies the old terminal building – we can arrange a discount there for you.
This years fair should see several helicopters both in the air and on the ground, several cockpits already promised, the J41, the AA1 plus fun stuff for the kids, a large aviation art exhibition, cars, motorcycles, etc etc.
For more about us, see http://www.jetstream-club.org
email me, roy@jetstream-club.org or call on 07721 638311
Thanks,
Roy.

Try flaring at about 20 feet. That usually does the trick!
Not sure I’d dare leave it that late 😮

I’d be happy to bring my cockpit, but it is attached to an engine, some wings, a fuselage, a complete set of tail feathers and an undercarriage.

And the landing fees at Liverpool are a bit steep 😮

Must admit I’m very disappointed – not a single cockpiteer interested?
