Excellent day, excellent venue, looking forward to next year. The Seahawk scrubbed up well after all those years in a scrapyard!

Thanks for the kind words William. It was nice to meet you – if only briefly! The fair kept me as busy as a busy thing all day with my phone ringing about every 10 minutes.

A great day (I think) with over £3,000 raised for the various charities and not a long face to be seen. We’ll be back next year with a bigger event – and a few surprises 🙂

Roy’s Sea Hawk is a credit to its owner and everyone who’s helped him with it, and it attracted a fair bit of attention today. Judge for yourself.
Met a blast from the past in the shape of Gerry Manning. I had the advantage in that he had a name tag while promoting Ian Allan tours, but he actually recognised me – not bad considering it’s about 33 years since we last spoke!
Helicopter pic throw in ‘cos it was the only thing flying today (that’s not meant as a criticism, by the way).

Best of British luck to everybody Roy. Can’t make it myself 🙁 . I’ve got to put a Chippy engine back together.

Hope you get the weather and the numbers.

Oh, and by the way, arn’t you aware that the hi-viz jacket is a major contribution to aviation safety?

No?

I don’t believe it either. 😀

Apologies, Roy, we cannot be with you this year due to sundry domestic commitments/problems.

Hopefully next year, though.

Good luck!

Good stuff William – I’ll be one of the pillocks in a hi-vis running around like a blue-ar*ed fly 🙂

Count me in at some time during the day. It’s (almost) walking distance.
I’ll try and make myself known to you to put a face to the name and I daresay vice versa.

William
