The Lock-On website (http://www.lo-mac.com) has posted some new screenshots from the game.
I cant wait for it to come out after having to suffer the last few years with WW2 sims and nothing modern to fly about it.
I for one will get it when it comes out.
What do you lot think of it?
Cheers

RE: Lock-On Flight Sim
The problem with modern jets sims is you can’t tell when someone is sticking a 9L up yer exhaust.
“Archer Inbound” anyone?

RE: Lock-On Flight Sim
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 18-01-03 AT 10:38 AM (GMT)]I’m a bit disappointed they dropped the Su-39.
They dropped it because the avionics of the F-15 was more complex than they anticipated and it was taking longer than they had intended.
I personally think if the F-15 was more complcated than they expected they should have dropped it instead… }>
… of course then they might have dropped the only other US aircraft… the A10, which would have been a shame as I’d like to have a go at flying that.
After all if you want to fly US aircraft there are plenty of games like F-15 Eagle, Falcon 4, etc etc, and this is Flanker 3.0 (technically speaking).

RE: Lock-On Flight Sim
There is work to correct everything. Btw, I notices there was no lighting in the cockpit??? Am I missing something, because i find it “somewhat hard” to fly at night.

RE: Lock-On Flight Sim
A service pack for strike fighters has been released that is supposed to fix alot of the problems in strike fighters.
When I get Lo-Mac i think the first order of business will be to get in a very fast plane and cane is down some valleies just for fun.
Hoepfully i will be able to pre-order it from Key Publishing, who knows.

RE: Lock-On Flight Sim
I think many people are awaiting this sim, it will indeed change from boring WW2 Sims, or Action oriented “simulators”…
PII, try Strike Fighters, Project 1. There are Phantoms in it. The game is crap, but maybe you’ll find it interesting. (A pity it isn’t better on the technical poiunt of view, because it looked promising) And in the mean time, we will use sims that contain REAL fighters. }>

RE: Lock-On Flight Sim
I’m sure it will be a neat game but you can’t fly the F-4 so I won’t buy it.
