Lockheed 1649 Starlinners

Hi All,

Here is some more information on the Starlinners that are here in Maine and along with the Ex-West German Air Force One that is down with Kermits Collection on Loan.

If anyone has any question I might be able to answer them.

Cheers Crazymainer

P.S: Yes we have had all eight engines running at one time 😮 😀

LAI – Linee Aeree Italiane, an international airline based in Rome which later (~1957) merged with Alitalia.

Sorry to be pedantic, but the West German Air Force never had any Starliners. I suspect you mean Lufthansa?

Mr. Roundy’s own site is here: http://www.starliner.net , the story of the ferry flight to Polk City that I was referring to on the Sunderland thread is on the ‘Starliner News’ page.
