Does anyone have a copy (or ideally a PDF copy) of Lockheeds Aircraft Design Sketchbook?

I first came across parts of this book when I was reading a 1973 Scale Model article about building the 1/24 scale Hawker Hurricane which had copies of some of the diagrams. Looks like a very interesting picture book for anyone that enjoys seeing how aircraft were constructed.
There is a second hand book seller on abebooks.com who is selling a copy but at $350 it’s way too rich for me.
Excerpt from website
A graphic aeronautical tour, including, at the end, design cutaway drawings of the Armstrong Whitworth Ensign, the Short G Class Flying Boat, The Mayo Composite Aircraft, the De Havilland Albatross, the D.H. Flamingo, the Bristol Bombay bomber-transport, the Dornier Do.17 bomber-fighter, the Heinkel He.111K Mk. V bomber, the Armstrong Whitworth Whitley, the Handley Page Hampden, the Junkers JU 86K bomber, the G.A. Cygnet, the Fairey Battle, the Westland Lysander, the Henschel Hs 126 Reconaissance Monoplane, the Hawker Hurricane, the B.F.W. [Messerschmidt] Me-109. the Hawker Henley, as well as a number of others in the details section.

Hi Howard,
Thanks for the info, knowing the title is helpful so that I can keep an eye out for a copy that’s for sale at substantially less that $350….
From what I remember about the excerpts showing the Hurricane, the detail was very good. Right up my alley in terms of interest.
Thank-you for your help.
Regards,

Hi Steven,
The book I think you are refering too is called “Aviations Sketch Book of Aircraft Detail Design”. I have copies of the Second and Third Editions. They are very good with lots of detail and include design detail on many Allied and Axis aircraft, engines, armaments and construction. The format is loose leaf style with card covers, around 115 pages printed both sides. They were published by Aviation magazine, a McGraw-Hill publication and were a compilation of illustrations that appeared in thier magazines.
I have another similar book called “Aviation’s Note Book – Design, Production, Maintenance”, a hard cover publication this time, I think it predates the above and is about 140 pages.
I have no copies or PDF’s and no, they are not for sale.
Regards
Howard
