I just found this great site with lots of photos of a former SAAF Ventura.
http://modelismo2.site.voila.fr/venturagallerie.htm
Does anyone know where this is, and whether it has the potential to one day fly? Or is it just a static museum piece? It looks very complete and totally gorgeous.
I have also been wondering about the RAAF ventura that was flying with their historic flight. I know it had a crash a few years ago and is being rebuilt, but
a) has anyone got photos showing the extent ofthe crash?
b) will it be rebuilt to fly again or just be static?
c0 has anyone got photos of the restoration?
And are any other Venturas being restored to flying condition right now?
I love Venturas, despite all the problems they had with the type which caused many deaths to their crews. Photos of any Venturas are welcome here, especially RNZAF ones…
