I seem to remember wys telling me that the saab 340 and 2000 had surprisingly little commonality, and that was in part why the 2000 didn’t sell more succesfully than it did.

I’d like to have seen the 2000 in BA/LC colours.

Yeah, they are to replace the ATP’s.

The SAAB must not be as good a STOL a/c, compared with the Dash 8.

It would make sense to have the 340 and 2000 (commonality) but the performance issue must rule!

I assume these are to replace the ATPs? I’m surprised that the Saab 2000 wouldn’t get it as I’m sure there would be a lot of type commonality between the 2000 and the 340s they already operate. Having said that the Dash 8s would probably come from BACX anyway, save on the repaint costs 😉
