Logos, brandnames & Instructions

One of the spinoffs from Steve’s Tour was the number of great logos I got to photograph. Many were at the G-VFWE, some elsewhere, but part of the fun of aviation for me is the sheer diversity of colour, design and imagination. Bearing in mind all these date from way before the ghastly concept of ‘brand identity’ came to life, they are a classy array.

I think you are right PB.

Pitty Cessna gave up such a cool logo and became builders of the world’s dullest airborne spamcans. (TM)

I think that the word that describes these is Pride. Pride in ownership and Pride in construction.
