heya guys, ive only got 2 pics today of the plane that everyones been waiting for at LHR…the Airbus A380. Me and someone else were at Myrtle Avenue and the place was crammed packed full of other spectators. I have to admit, the weather was crap as always but i did what i could.
The thing that struck me most was how quiet the massive thing was. The 744 that landed previously was very loud in comparrison.
1) F-WWDD on short finals to RWY27L
2) Again, the A380. I tried to get some sort of size comparison there…not much joy
3) The previous largest pax carrying plane
so try enjoy 😀

Hey nice pics. I was across the road closer to the perimeter fence right under the approach! Filmed the landing on my digicam.
And its defintaley a lot quieter than the 747 which almost deafened me as it passed over. The whole thing was over so quickly it was almost surreal. Nonetheless it was a great spectacle seeing this baby in the flesh! 😎
