London Heathrow – 4/1/09

Evening all, well I ventured out to LHR and an airport for that matter for the first time in months. Not the best day at all (overcast and cold) but I had nothing else to do today and I thought I should go :).

As usual with not spotting for a few months (which I do alot ) you suddenly feel a complete novice again and today was no exception. I’m not exactly pleased with them but hey, I blame the weather :diablo:.

Roll on summer eh…..

It’s about bloody time you were posting photos again, Tom! :D:diablo:

A very enjoyable post indeed. You could squeeze a touch more brightness out of a couple of them but as you say, you do get out of the habit of it. I remember a couple of years ago, after spending a hell of a lot of time shooting and practicing editing I went off on a 3 week European tour with the band, didn’t shoot aviation at all during those three weeks and when I returned it literally took me a month to get back into editing again properly. Considering it’s been months since you were last out shooting you’ve done pretty damned well!

See you in Dublin in 8 days. Just try keep that git Rowley under control if you can! 😀

Bagged yourself some rather nice movements there! Nice to Swiss using an A330 again into LHR too!

Some really nice shots. I’m surprised to see the 27s back in use. It seems like the 9s have been in use forever!

Nice shots. When I drove past LHR earlier today it was clear blue sky! Typical, eh?

Nice photos and nice car!

The term Quiet737 on the Aviogenex (did not even know they where still around) is a bit of a misnomer! It looks like the plane is not even hushkitted.
