ventured down yesterday started off really blue, then grey cloudy, pouring down, when i got there was gutted to learn 27L wasnt in use, so bang goes Myrtle, this posed a problem as i followed the landing direction took me past concorde, and i found a place near crash gate 15 i think, so just stayed on the road (can you get moved from the perimeter road) then rain, and extreme weather had to come home 🙁 i walked for ages, and seen no 285 buses goin past can any of you LHR guys give me some advice??????

It’s always worth checking the runway config before you go to LHR. I think it’s on the Heathrow website.;)
