Great day off work…weather was well changeable, bright one minute, dark the next, but got a few beauties and few moth-eaten aircraft too – CSA B737.

Great quality photos, well done

That’s fair enough. I was/still am very fond of UA’s Battleship grey scheme, as well. Had they replaced it with something terrrible, I would have been upset. We’ll still be seeing the grey birds for years to come. They grey scheme was introduced in 1992 and the old white scheme was still circulating more than 6 years later.

Greekdude….Sorry man but the new UA scheme does’nt do it for me, clever design, just not my thing, to me the old scheme was just fine. I only make the comparison with PIA in so far as that doesn’t work for me either, in my opinion PIA is’nt even a clever design. But then beauty in the eye of the beholder and all that…………..

Thanks for the comments guys.
I believe the first United B747 will leave the paintshop in the new colours in June.

UA 777 in the new livery, very above average! Who didn’t like that new colour scheme? 😮
Guilty as charged Sir

When will we see a 744 in this paint?
I was wondering the same thing! Interflug, you can’t even comepare the PIA livery with UA’s!

I have to admit that I was one of those that wasn’t necessarily thrilled with the change. I just liked the previous livery a lot and hated to see it go. The new livery really has started to grow on me now that I’ve been seeing it around more. When will we see a 744 in this paint?
BTW, great pictures! What kind of lense do you use to get such close up pictures?

Great pics. I really like that Etihad A330, but that latest PIA scheme is only marginally worse than United.

Have just read that they are getting a new Control Tower at Heathrow to be operational in 2006. I guess the old one will be demolished – shame!
Maybe they can convert it into a viewing platform for us enthiousiasts. I know that BAA are highly unlikely to do anything like that, but we can hope right? :p
