Can anyone tell me the average ticket price from London to Prague roundtrip? Also, are there any low-cost carriers on that route?
Thanks in advance,
Sam.

I think from Leamington you would have to go to London and then on to Stansted. As for train prices, I think there are so many prices available according to when you travel and when you return I think it would be best for you or your sister to check that. I think there is a website which gives rail timetables and prices for the UK. A google search would probably be your best bet. What is the price difference between EMA and Stansted? And by the time rail fares are added on would it be any cheaper? I thought there were flights to Prague from Birmingham? Maybe one of the others may know more as I don’t know too much about the AW side of things.

RE: London – Prague flights
kev35,
Many thanks for your info. The only problem is Easyjet does not fly out of Birmingham. I suppose East Midlands is the closest but the fares are much cheaper from Stansted. I am trying to figure out if its worthwhile to spend money going all the way to London to catch a cheaper flight. Are there any trains I could take?
Ren Frew and A330crazy,
Many thanks for your replies.

From EMA on Easyjet, it would cost around £84 return. And with CSA the cheapest I got was £73.90.

Sam.
Birmingham airport is around 20 miles from Leamington and East Midlands I would say is about 40 to 50. Both have good motorway access. East Midlands should take no more than an hour to get to, Birmingham considerably less.
Hope this helps.

Many thanks for all the info. Easyjet/go.com seem to have the best fares. I will be staying with my sister in West Midlands/Royal Leamington Spa. Thus, which will be the most convenient airport to fly out to Prague from?

RE: London – Prague flights
The Low cost airline Go operate 3 flights a day from London Stansted to Prague with fares from around £50 return (or maybe lower!!) From the end of March, Go is being taken over by easyJet who will still operate 3 services a day from Stansted to Prague. easyJet also operate services from Prague to East Midlands, Bristol and Newcastle. bmibaby operate from East Midlands to Prague aswell.

CSA Czech Airlines have totalled £106.00 and flights are operated using a 737-400 on both legs to and from London Heathrow.
