Afternoon all, here’s a brief selection from the above this afternoon. Luckily the weather stayed decent for the A380!!
Edit: As I’m sure the eagle-eyed amongst you have noticed I have infact put the wrong month in the title, I can say these were taken today ;).
Heathrow first….
Then off to Gatwick….
At least 130 miles covered today which brings my car over the 100,000 miles barrier, it seemed along day but worth it. Hope you enjoyed :D.

very nice set there must say that 380 just looks huge when you see it up close like that but see when you see it on approach and it just seems to be hovering there thats the bit i love about it but very nice set keep them coming

Never noticed the green Volvo, but, remember seeing a couple of young lads right at the fence to the bin area by the gate?? possibly you two??. I was mostly hibernating in my wee white van parked at the back beside the staff car park, only venturing out to shoot now and again.

I was at the petrol station indeed! the green Volvo S40 driver :D. I was standing sort of in front of those bins with a friend of mine…..there were a hell of alot of people in that small area.
Reckon you saw me? and ta for the comments by the way :D.
Don’t reckon I can beat you on the busy driving day either ;).

Must’ve been standing next to you today (assuming these were shot from the petrol station?). Very amusing how incredibly busy that station got around 1130:dev2:
I may have just pipped you on the mileage… started thursday at 4am in Glasgow, to Warrington,then to Carlisle airport for Dutch AF choppers on maneouvres back to Glasgow, to Edinburgh airport to Kelso to Carlisle airport (Just in time for a nice Canadian AF Challenger 😀 ) to RAF Leeming (nothing doing) on to East Mids in the dark then down to Sunbury on Thames 4 hours kip in the van later, Heathrow today till 1pm, then to Luton till 4pm and back home to Glasgow by 2230:diablo: only 774 shots to sift through before bed!!!

Fantastic shots Tom!! The first of those two A380 shots are superb! I like the Northwest shot (Gatwick) too :)!
