One of the best things about living in the north east is the length of the evenings during summer. I reckon that in the peak of summer, Newcastle receives an extra 30 mins of sun compared to what I was used to at my old local, Stansted. Taking advantage of this light, here are a few shots from Newcastle over the last couple of weeks –




The two NCL-based Jet2 Boeing 733QCs getting towed across to the south-side for their mail flights to STN and EMA –






And finally, something a little bit different. Don’t normally pay the littl’ns of Northumbria Flying School much attention but the light was just too good not to..
