For all the others that have pm me about various models,I will get back to you!! been working away alot and have to donate my time when back to the 5 urchins.Finished on site now so will trawl through the boxes to find missing bits…but as there`s HUNDREDS of bits!! so it will take me time.

No rush – Let me know either by PM or on this thread when they’re ready! 🙂

The “workshop” is a little full at the moment (19 Lancasters!), so those two will have to wait their turn! 😀

Cheers,

Don

Javelin ‘restored’ and in its new home. Cheers Hindenburg 🙂

Ah the Heller Javelin T.3, a childhood favourite, done a good job cleaning it up.

And I’m sure you would, but I’m up for the challenge, if need be, and will enjoy sharing the results with you. And you will be free to tell me that it’s a load of c**p, if you want to.;)

Thanks, Blue – I like the confidence you have in me to “modify” some control surfaces!:) I have pmd H about the C47 parts and await his response.

RH I don’t have control surfaces for a Dak, but I’m sure I have some off something else you could modify to suit.
Hindenburg if you could pm when you have chance if the Ju86 is still about?

Hindenburg, as the models didnt sell, is there any chance i could “relocate” some of your newly aquired collection lol?

helicopers if possible? as i seem to have a strange attraction to them now

Thanks for that, Blue. It’s got its props but looks to be missing both ailerons and possibly an elevator. It’s sitting on its belly so the undercarriage may be there and retracted or missing. See how Mr H responds.

Cheers RH. Depending what bits the Dak needs I might be able to help, sure I’ve some props that’d do for it at least. I’m toying with haggling for the Ju86 if it’s still around. Well I think that’s what it is anyway…

The Jav looks great, Blue – well done. I’m waiting to hear if the Dakota has all its bits, for which I have offered Hindenburg cash. The B17 has already gone. I’m no great shakes as a modeller, but will share my efforts if it comes to it.

Cheers Ben. New green paint, repainted belly, canopy frame, nose and intakes, made 3 new gear legs as they were all shot, split the nose to put some ballast in, voila!
Word of warning, the SR71’s pretty big from what I remember, a friend had one, and the little drone thingy that goes with it. You’d need a fair old shelf mate…
As Ben said, if anyone else is batty enough to be restoring any of the former ‘Hindenburg Collection’ please share.

Looks realy good Blue 2.
Will we be getting any more restorations sourced from Hindenburg on this thread. Who`s been swapping ?
I fancy the SR71 but dont have anything worth having to swap.

Ben

I’d take the B17 and Dakota/C47 off your hands for cash, if they are looking for a new home.
