Hi, I seen a movie about 10 years ago on TV about a lost C-47 Dakota. I dont remember the name of that movie, can anyone help me.
Its a Dakota that crashed with a+ lot of gold omboard, and is found many years later.
I just want to see it again.

Cool. Ken Wahl was the leading man I think. It had some great low, fast helicopter scenes filmed around Wanaka/Queenstown area and i was told once the pilot was Sir Tim Wallis but never had that confirmed.

Race For The Yankee Zephyr?
That’s a Kiwi film starring Donald Pleasance and some yanks in a race to find the wreck of a C-47 crashed in a lake in NZ, full of gold.
Thats the one, remembered it had Zephyr in it. Thanks Dave.

Didn’t see anything in the list that resembles the request from PB. Wasn’t there a missing plane in Alaska/Canada supposedly with a gold cargo? Might have been a DC-4. :confused:
