Looking for Control Yoke/Wheel Collectors

Hello:
I’m fairly new to this website. I’m a collector of aircraft control wheels/yokes and would like to get to know some others who have the same interests out there on the east side of the Atlantic pond. I live in the central USA and collect primarily military bomber and cargo aircraft yokes as well as airliner yokes. And I have a few British yokes too. I would ultimately like like to expand my collection to include yokes for the Nimrod, Comet, VC10 and perhaps some of more of the WWII types. I’m very aware there is an active collector market in England and the rest of Europe. I already have nice examples of Lancaster and Shackleton yokes.

I have a few yokes available for trade including very nice (complete) examples of the Lockheed P2V-5 Neptune and Martin B-57, which used a completely different yoke than the English Electric version of the aircraft. I’m looking forward to striking up some conversations.

Thank you Jack, for pointing me to the correct location a few days. Lots of activity under that thread.

By the way, back in the 1982/3 time frame I was a flight test engineer for McDonnell Douglas. I worked the test plans for the #3 AV-8B that was undergoing testing as part of the full scale development program for the type out at NATC Patuxant River, Maryland. The #3 prototype was primarily an offensive avionics and weapons release test platform. It was a fun project.

Welcome. I think the yoke/stick top thread and the forumites therein is your first port of call, thus…
