Hello,
some buddies of mine came across aircraft parts brought home by a local Dutch fisherman. According to the stencils on the parts they once belonged to a North American F-86 K aircraft. Three Duitch Squadrons operated theses aircraft and some 15 losses are known. Production for the Dutch F-86 K started with F-86K-14-NA S/N 54-1235 in 1954 and included slightly more than sixty aircraft until the order was completed with S/N 55-4885 (a F-86 K assembled by Fiat using NAA-parts).
Does anybody know the S/N of the Sabres that crashed and especially which of them have been lost over the Northsea?
Thnaks for any hint in advance! Best regards from Germany,
Chris
