Looking for drawings of pre-WW2 cockpits/forward fuselages. Anyone have any?

Hi
I’m looking for manufacturing drawings suitable to build a cockpit/forward fuselage section, of a pre WW2 aircraft type.
Some of the types I am interested in are as follows-

BLACKBURN BLUEBIRD. KANGAROO. DART. RIPON.
BRISTOL BOMBAY.
DEHAVILLAND DH10. DH86.
DUDLEY WATT DW2.
FAIREY FOX. HENDON.
HANDLEY PAGE HEYFORD. HARROW/SPARROW.
MARTINSYDE F4.
VICKERS VIMY. VILDEBEAST. WELLESLEY.
WESTLAND WAPITI.
ETC.

I would be interested to hear from anyone who may have suitable drawings for the framework, cockpit fittings or control fittings, be they just a few or a complete set.

Cheer’s.

Funnily enough, I have an almost complete set of drawing for the DW2, unfortunately those for the instrument panel, decking, cowls & a few control fittings are missing.

Well, now I am impressed. I’d be fascinated to learn how and from where you sourced the DW.2 drawings – unless that would involve disclosing trade secrets!

Just out of curiousity, why the Dudley Watt DW.2? It sticks out like the proverbial sore thumb from amongst all the other larger and military hardware . I fear that finding drawings of any part of this aeroplane would be as likely as locating molars in the mouth of a chicken!

I only listed a few of the types that I am interested in finding drawings for, the hope being that enough will turn up for at least one of the types, to enable the recreation of a cockpit/forward fuselage section.
I also have a about 80% of the drawings for the ANEC Missel Thrush, but again, they are not complete, the drawings for the cowls, engine bearers, most of the control fittings, seat, fuel tank, screen, wing tip ribs, main interplane struts & main ribs profiles are all missing “though I do have the drawing that shows the ribs construction”.

Dobbins- a Gladiator cockpit etc would be a fantastic project. Do you have the drawings ???.

CeBro- I have asked HFM about drawings for the HP types, but he said that they have very little for the types I am interested in.

I could probably fill an A4 sheet of paper “both sides”, with a list of types “military & civil”, that I am interested in finding at least the drawings for the cockpit section, but thought it best to limit what types I put on the thread :D.

Bob,

For Handley Page types try the department of books of the IWM at Duxford.

Would be great to see some of these recreated.

Cheers
