Hello,
I’m looking for a copy of a Hawker Aircraft Ltd. drawing B.76323 which, I believe is the drawing for the Hurricane instrument panel support hoop. It’s officially know as Former #1. I’m also looking for drawing B.76318 for the horizontal support tube, again for the instrument panel. I know that the latter was made from 22 gauge aluminium tube and was 2 feet in length. What I don’t know is the outside diameter of this tube and to what dimension the tube was rolled.
I’d even be interested in a hand drawn drawing with dimensions and radius for former #1 if you have this information. Ever bit of information helps me to complete my Canadian-spec Mk XII instrument panel.
Thank you,
Ron

Thought I’d bump this thread up to the top one more time as I’m having no joy.
In addition to Hawker Drawings B.76323 and B.76318, I’m also looking for the drawing for Former #2 (windscreen hoop) C.97888. These drawings are to be used for the static restoration of a CCF-made Hurricane Mk XII. I have other drawings from which to trade.
Cheers,
Ron

Received a very nice response from Brooklands but they do not have the drawings that I’m looking for. So I’m still searching for B.76323 and B.76318 for the Hawker Hurricane.
Thank you

Thank you for this suggestion. I’ve never had much luck with museums but I’ll ask and keep my fingers crossed.
Cheers,
Ron

Brooklands Museum has archives of Hawker Siddeley companies. Maybe they can help?
