Hi David

Thanks for asking. I really need some assymetric throttle/mix levers for the dual control set up, the lamp that mounts to the inst panel combing, correct floor mount for the flare pistol on the front floorboard. Minor bits n bobs really. I have some NOS AOP-9 bits for sale over in the UK if anyone is interested (some cowls and seat cushons…maybe more) Oh and a spare set of AOP6 wings! All in UK as I don’t need to freight parts I don’t need back to NZ.

Sorry to divert….. but you can email me on abgalbraith@clear.net.nz

OK back to tyres!

Cheers
Anthony

Hi guys, this is interesting.

I have original Dunlop 6.00 x 6.5 tryes on my Auster T7 rebuild. She never saw civvie use and these were original RAF stock. However when I picked up some new 6.00 x 6.5 they are noticeably skinnier??? I don’t really want to have to use them as the original RAF ones look beefier and ‘correct’ where as these new civvie ones look a little anorexic…why would that be?

I guess I could use these ones, but after all the effort I am going to for a stock rebuild, it would be nice to have the right ones.

Any help would be appreciated

Cheers
Anthony

I tried Watts but can’t provide original DUNLOP tires…same story with DH support….

grrrr it looks like Chippie owners won’t be able to keep the “RAF original look”…

Sorry, no advertising on the forum.

Try Watts Aviation for the tyres.
