Looks vs capabilities

Hi again,

Do you think that the look of a fighters has some influences in the choise? Like, comparing the X32 with the X35 …
Ofcourse, the main issue of a fighter is that it has to be good, but if the USAF or USN could chose between two fighters with more or less the same capabilities, wouldn’t they chose the one with the best looks? I don’t want to make a new JSF-discussion of it, but the X35 has got better looks. The Boeing competitior has the advantage of newer Avianocis and the cockpit seems totally different compared to conventional fighters … It’s more like a computer game.
