Hello All,
Have just found a newspaper cutting in a copy of Harry Moyle’s “Hampden Files” at LINCOLN CENTRAL LIBRARY, today Saturday 1 December.
Somebody will be sorely missing this; can you please spread the word, the cutting is from 1993 and subject is 144 Squadron Hampden Aircrew, in Russia. It is held safe by the Library staff, Free School Lane, Lincoln.
(The book is in reference section so we cannot trace who has had it.)
Good Luck.

Did all copies of the Hampden File come with a free newspaper clipping?
I bought mine off Amazon a few years back, second-hand, and it also has one inside dating from 1995, about the funeral of a Hampden crew in Holland in 1942.
Regards
Simon

Lost a newspaper cutting in Lincoln
If Toomraider did elaborate anyone would be able to go into the library and claim the piece – with the explanation he has given if the owner reads this forum he will know where his lost piece is, and then go in and claim it back to the satisfaction of the library staff.
Nuff said!! 🙂
