“Think different” is one of Apple’s slogans. 🙂
“Think Incompatible” is the retort from PC fans. HA HA

Are they all buying Apple Macs then, Sandy? :D:D:D

If its a comparison you’re on about, PCs and Macs each have their pros and cons.
Macs can be more stable, but when they crash, boy do they crash.
PCs, they crash yes… but they don’t eat your data like macs do when they crash 😉
Besides most airlines I beleive run PC based servers and software. Swapping to MAC would be hugely expensive as booking engines, ATC commuications et al would all need to swap over. AFAIK

Even still, that is a very sweeping comment to make. The aircraft hasn’t even flown, nor has it met any performance targets – How can you tell at this very early stage that it will be better than the A330/B767? Regardless if Boeing have a good record of meeting targets, it’s still just a paper-plane at the moment.
I hope the B787 is a success and does meet it’s targets; I simply refuse to hear that it will be the better aircraft at this early stage!
The airlines seem to think differently Matt.

Incredible work by Boeing to have secured so many orders for an aircraft that has yet to fly! It appears they have a winner in the 787! Airbus is taking a pounding in this sector.

**As per usual Politicians meddling.**
Should keep out of aviation and stick to what they are good at……….anyone know what that is?
Self preservation. 😉

Why the A330?
The 787 will be a much better choice. No contest.
Have to agree here, love the A330 but i think most new orders will go for the 787 over the A330.

I hope LOT buy the A330 but its up to the airline

EDIT: My comment is based on the fact that the 787 is designed to replace the A330/767/A300

I saw two LOT 762’s on the ground at ORD at the same time once. But I digress…..
By: Bmused55 - 5th May 2005 at 18:10
Surely they will go for Boeing, as they already have B737s and B767s?
not necessarily.
The French, German and UK governments have all written to the polish leader urgin him to buy the A350.
As per usual Politicians meddling.

To correct the article, its the A350 that Airbus are trying to sell to LOT.
