We were at 370 and we still had to dodge around quite a lot of storms. They were upto 400 I would say.

Great pictures! What path does your route take you to and from Johannesberg?

The normal route to South Africa will flight plan the flight south into the South China Sea before it will make its turn to the west over Vietnam, Laos or Cambodia, Thailand and Myanmar (Burma) before starting its crossing of the Indian Ocean. The weather can get pretty rough when crossing the equator.

Superb pics Skycruiser. Very enjoyable. Nice to see some cabin shots of a CX 747 too. I notice that the “swire group” logo has pealed off more or less one side of B-HOP as shown in your picture.
