Having seen the thread entitled Very Low flying spitfire and then not seeing any pictures I feel a bit hungry for pics so if anyone does have bits they wouldnt mind letting us look at here is your chance. Thanks

Ahhh good old TB752
as a kid – the museum people let me dust it!!!
whilst on that subject, does anyone know how close it’s restoration was to ‘airworthy’ status. It was clearly very thoroughly done, but when I was there as a kid, the woman behind the counter told me “oh yes it’s basically flyable, but they took the crankshaft out, so the BBMF couldn’t come round and take it away”
obviously she was talking through her hat, but I’ve always been curious how ‘flyable’ or otherwise it was when freshly done.

I was looking at it thinking Electra  , that explains it now 😉 , As I am not sure how many Electras are still flying in the World  , Cheers, Tally Ho! Phil 😎
There are a few up here in Coventry with Atlantic Airlines, still working hard for a living on airfreight work, I will look into just how many are flying at the moment 🙂

P-3s were reinstated I understand. The grounding ranks as one of the stupidest ideas I’ve witnessed for years.

A P-3 airtanker, from the look of it. I thought that they were all grounded due to the US Government cancelling all the airtanker contracts
Well this one certainly ‘grounded’. 🙂

This one is doing the rounds on the internet.
It is said to have happened a couple of weeks back.
Altitude at runway was ‘minus one inch’ and it went round again.
