Low level stability

During most of the 80s and into the Gulf War 1 I heard quite a few comparisons between the Buccaneer and the Tornados low level capabilities.
Whilst the Tornado was superior tecnologically the Buccaneer had much better low level stability and often it was said there was nothing to match it in the world.
But is this still the case today or do the more modern fighters, Typhoon, Lightning II and Gripen to name but three have very good low level ride quality to match the Buccaneers?
