Don’t miss this incredible Me262 gear-up photo! No need to say more…
Oh to be in the chase plane… We will be posting more information at http://www.warbirdrecovery.com.

Don’t think so. The rear deck is removable aft of the canopy, unless I’m mistaken, so the canopy itself should be the correct shape.
If you see what I mean….
(I dunno, it’s late, I’ve had a few Buds, yadda yadda)

I love the sight of that single seater in the air…
Guess how much more pairs are gonna be photographed over time involving this bird.
Still… the canopy does not look right
almost dont dare to say so, but can the convertible thingy be the case for that?
To me it looks as if the curve in the main piece is too sharply reclining backwards, or that the length op the piece is somehow too short, or that the whole thing is higher than on original me262’s. I’m not talking of the late model versuchs machines, that had a lower profile than the first.
Please dont take my comments a critsism to the project..
I could just suffer from the fact we all have never seen a lot of air to air shots of me 262’s.. 😮

I can still hardly believe this project is finally nearly completed. Hats off to all involved.
Indeed, she (and the two-seater) are a credit to all who have slaved away to make this dream a reality. 🙂

Since I live not too far from Munich, I look forwards to seeing the fruits of your labours as soon as possible. Any idea when Tango Tango is gettting shipped over here?

Where the 262s are going…
Two of the five aircraft are sold. One to a new owner in Arizona and one is going to Munich, Germany. There are three more for sale, but there are several very interested parties who wish to purchase one. Stay tuned…
There is more information on the available aircraft at www.airassets.com. That is the parent company to Warbird Recovery. AirAssets Intl. is my day job to pay for the fun planes…
Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!

Missing tail piece…
You will have to visit our facility near Denver, Colorado to see a real cross on the tail of our Bf-109 project. Not much left after 60 years, but visible…

Oh to be in the chase plane…how about being at the controls..
a beautiful sight I must say but where is the tail “cross”???? looks silly without it. I can’t stand political correctness …
