Tiger aircraft attacks Palaly military base

Civilian sources in Jaffna reported at least one aircraft flying over Sri Lankan military complex in Palaly around 9:30 p.m. launching rocket attacks. Artillery fire from Palaly military base came to a hault following the attack from the plane, the sources said. “We will use our soldiers, sailors, airmen and marine in an all out defensive measure to protect our people and homeland,” Mr. Irasaiah Ilanthirayan, the military spokesman of the Tigers told TamilNet when contacted to comment on the aerial attack on Palaly military base
