Hi Guys,
Okay we were trying to book our flights today to JHB hoping still to go Emerates but they are now booked solid. So the only 2 which have decent prices for August are Lufthansa & Air France. Air France is out as I dont rate them them after our last escapades with them. So I was wondering if anyone has flown Lufthansa especially long haul and how did you find them?

I’ve flown LH both long haul and within Europe. I rate their service along the same lines as United and Air New Zealand, all 3 of whom I think very highly of. Their seat pitch is decent, comparable to most majors. Food is good, seats are nice. No PTV’s, but that isn’t a necessity in my book, I don’t know about yours.

And the times i have flown with LH the seats have been leather, very nice indeed.

I know AF A340s have very comfertable seats. Personaly now i wont fly AF!:p

Personnaly I’ve flown a few times long haul with both and
prefer AF.
I don’t why but I get the feeling AF seat pitch is bigger (in eco)
than LH.
Can somebody confirm this ? Please.
Anyway I think both are good choices.

Not long haul, but i love lufthansa i think its a really good airline, and has good service. definitly better than Air France!!!!!!!
