Luftwaffe Fire Engine Anybody?

An estate auction is being held of the things squirrelled away by ex-French Resistance man Alain Roudeix. Lot 836 – an Opel Blitz military aviation fire engine, Lot 645 – various aircraft parts (can anybody identify them?) and Lot 261 – a used British parachute cannister look most relevant to this forum, although items like airborne bicycles might be interesting to some. Personally I love the little Delaye fire engine (Lot 79) – no vintage airfield should be without one! The auctioneer’s estimates appear somewhat low.

That auction is “in person”?

Just brilliant to look through, all those BMW motorcycles!

You can buy a jeep, a 75mm gun, then another jeep and an ammo trailer! There’s at least one slightly rusty Panzerfaust tube and in terms of keeping the link to this forum, a drop tank of some sort.

I believe that telephone bids are also permitted…

The Kettenkrad, Kubelwagen, swimwagen, all kinds of goodies to dress out your luftwaffe display. Plenty of Bikes, motorcycles, jeeps as well. That would be a very interesting auction to go to!
