Luftwaffe MG Grip?

Or a bit of a tank? I don’t normally buy crash bits, but this has been on the same stall at Stoneleigh for a few years. It was listed as a P47 stick grip but clearly isn’t. Has traces of anodising under the paint and certainly looks to have come out of a crash, being snapped at the base and deeply scored. Could be MG151/20 or MG FF. Pretty sure it’s not British or US. Could be AFV? Anyone got better info or pics?

Nice result Ian….well done….It is a weird one….like you and Graham, I was so annoyed at seeing labeled as a P47 for so many years….I ignored it. You show the value of persevrence!! Sorry cannot spell that word!! Don’t care really!!

Cheers Graham. The stick annoyed me every year with it’s wrong description, then I found a picture of something similar. Not much aviation stuff this year, in fact not much good at all. Did you see the £150 ‘Horsa’ rudder pedals? They weren’t.
