Luftwaffe Part Identification?

Here’s the base of one of mine if you’re interested what else would/could have been there…

…just like our one of a 110 they have been split off in exactly the same way as yours!

Excellent comparison photographs! Presumably the Bf110 in question dived into the ground and the force of the impact tore out the propeller blades, breaking off these fragments in the process.

Any idea about the other number; it doesn’t seem to follow the same numbering system?

Bottom of the prop blades, again just like our one of a 110 they have been split off in exactly the same way as yours!

In what must be an amazingly lucky find; two, and only two, small pieces of aluminium…..but apparently stamped with the part number of whatever they are off.

I’ve read it as ‘9.12087.10’ and I’m assuming that this is a boss on the inner end of one of the propeller blades; can anybody confirm?

I’ve managed to remove another part and after careful cleaning another number has been revealed. It is hand-written with some sort of etching tool and some parts of it are very faint but I think it reads:

A?0710102?

Does anybody recognise this as a part number or even an engine number?
