I have been sorting out some photos and found these I believe they were taken by Heinz Ludemann (black6 pilot KIA March 43 ) during his pilot training and Russian front 1941 -42.

Dear Fluffy
Have U thought about posting the pictures on the “Luftwaffe Bullet Board” at http://forum.luftarchiv.de
The section would be “Die Deutsche Luftwaffe 1933 bis 1945”
They are a friendly bunch and appreciate these contributions very much.

Wow what great pictures Paul, thanks for posting them! Of course any more of your “sorted” photos would find an appreciative audience here! 😉

Off the top of my head, this site is a start……
Fabulous photographs by the way, a real historical treasure. Have you thought about donating them to a museum or photo archive?

Luftwaffe WW2
Just to digress slightly, I’m interested in the WW2 Luftwaffe airfields, can anybody point me towards a good site for pictures of said airfields? I have a reasonable command of German, so .de sites would be OK too.
Many thanks
FF
Or should that be vielen danke…

Great shots Fluffy, I see from the photos that the 109 needed a lot of TLC even when they were brand new.
