Lovely!!
Excellent to watch, kids were allowed to stay up and watch. Used a 1890’s telescope I bought on the Isle of Arun a couple of years ago. Couple (or treble) that with a bottle of the Speyside pop and the wireless headphones with Floyds Dark Side of the Moon playing made it better. I am one chilled man!! 🙂 Mrs Ivan stayed on the sofa with her hot chocolate watching some awful programme. Guess which 3 people had smiles on their faces!?!
Staying up now for the World Superbikes from Oz at 1AM. Will be a tired but happy bunny when I go to get me Sunday Times in the morning!! 😀
PS Our lad Lee will be stationed in Gutersloh until 2008. No more Gulf for him for a bit. He may even be stationed at Cosford upon return from Germany/Next Tour if the proposed bill goes through. Will be nice to take him for a pint without a bloody long trip!! Its been a good couple of weeks!!

I have also just been watching it.. but unaided… still made good viewing… Im in West Yorkshire and where i am we have a lovely clear night..
Has any one had there lenses out?? if so please feel free to share your photos.. I didnt have my camera to hand so didnt get the chance of even attempting a shot.
