My first visit of the year to Luton, greeted with some decent weather and some interesting traffic.
S7-ASY B767-300

Not sure what’s happening with this 767, now wearing Garuda Indonesia colours but still with it’s old UK Thomsonfly reg of G-BYAB
OO-DIJ DHL A300
9K-AKD Kuwait government A320
Ex Qantas B767, now N673BF
Happy hunting, Tony

Great shots
But sad new about the two Thomsonfly 767-200s… after they returned from lease from Garuda they went onward to the desert i believe. They’ve been great work horses for Thomson since the 1990s. I loved flying on them, powerfull birds, especially G-BYAA and G-BYAB.

Thanks for your comments guys.
Just read on another forum G-BYAB came back from Garuda after a short term Hajj charter and was then withdrawn at Luton. Is apparently due to leave imminently for parting out. RIP G-BYAB 🙁
