Apparently this Criquet, formerly F-BJQB, was being flown to the UK by Doug Bianchi when it made a forced landing near Paris. The story has it that Doug Bianchi sold it on the spot to a passing American and that it then disappeared across the pond. However I have not been able to find a US Criquet that offers F-BJQB/G-AYKI as its previous identity. But then, my sources are limited! Is it just a tall tale or did this French built Fiesler Storch migrate to the USA and, if so, what was its US registration and subsequent history?
