Hi all:
A quiet week for me exploded into life on Thursday, left home at 4 am got home friday at 2230, in between work managed the following:
First up on thursday morning dropped into Carlisle to see the RNethAF contingent of choppers on training… images posted on the “Airshow photos” forum :http://forum.keypublishing.co.uk/showthread.php?t=79497 if anyone wants to see them.
Later that day a quick trip to Edinburgh:
Next up a quick jolly into Newcastle just in time to catch a CAF CC144 (but not early enough to catch its wheels!
Heathrow 27R departures to follow………………
Then a run by RAF Leeming where they had just hangared everything 😡
And a run on down to Nottingham East Midlands Sheffield Lincoln etc… etc… at night, but, wrong settings struck again so no joy there!
So Friday morning the sun was out after a heavy night rain at Heathrow:

Thanks for the replies chaps. I thought it was Surinam AW, seemed to be a lot of AMS outbounds on friday, saw a couple of KLM also, and the A320 “chaser plane” was a Martinair 767.

Judging by the pic, the aircraft seems to flying east to west, so it would be Amsterdam – Paramaribo:diablo:

After LHR a visit to Luton was needed so off on the merry M25 and M1 i went
1 HOUR 20 MINS!!! later:(in no particular order)

So after getting some landing shots.. (one more below….)
a quick dash round to stake a place at the petrol station for 27L departures, noted, G-BPEK BA 757 now with winglets
