Maginificent SAAF DC-4 display

Here is a pilot who is REALLY putting a DC-4 through her paces.

Including a low flight with 2 feathered engines/props. I never knew the DC-4 was that agile.

Stresses on the airframe would be calculated and very little, the pull up into a barrel role wouldn’t apply as many G as what appears to the crowd.
By the way this is the second thread on exactly the same videoclip in less than 24 hrs, http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?t=111532
And we have a special section in which to post videos.

Hmmm, 😮
Now that is definately one that has no margin for error.
This would definately be a questionable display.
Indeed it looks spectacular, but I could not help think that it is not a sustainable display act?
Least of all the stresses that are put on the aeroplane 🙁

What does everyone think? :dev2:

helleva wingover, i thought he was gona lose it at the end when he was nearly inverted, it was almost going to be a barrel roll. cant believe that the DC4 is “what” 60 years old? the way he was throwing it around.

thanks for posting it
