At the end of a cruise we had an overnight stay at Malpensa. On the first afternoon spent three hours in Terminal 1 behind the Benneton Shop. Great views over the tarmac and most stuff taxies past. In the morning I walked the 2.5 miles from the hotel to the morning spot that Tartanpics visted a couple of months ago. Then spent another 3 hours in the afternoon in T1 again before flight home. I was very surprised at the variety of traffic and there were some extremely interesting movements. A most excellent airport for photography.

I love the tail scheme on the PIA aircraft. Otherwise my favourites are the Air Nostrum (a big fan of their CRJs) and “Spotty Tail” Brussels Airlines.

Nice selection there. Did you have to do quite a lot afterwards to the shots to overcome the nasty tinted windows when shot from terminal ?
Cheers. Just a fade correction in Paint Shop Pro to take a bit of the haze out and bring the colours out. I had to remove a couple of reflections as well, The glass didn’t cause too many problems really. At the morning spot near to the take off point the heat haze caused more of a problem than the glass reflections in the terminal. I am posting the shots I made from that spot below….
