Firstly a happy new year to everybody and Lang mae yer lum reek! as we say up here, apologies if this has been posted elsewhere here but there is a great article in the mail on Sunday “Live” magazine on a U.S. pilot called Art Nalls who bought a Sea harrier , shipped it out to the states and flys it at airshows, the title of the article is “Now thats what I call an Airfix kit….”

Even though I delivered around 100,000 copies of the magazine to the various wholesalers around Liverpool/Preston and Bolton yesterday, I didn’t get to read a copy.
Got my usual free copy of the Daily Snail though.

I really hope that one day, we have a Historic flight in this country that keeps types such as the Harrier flying. It must be one of the great Bitish aircraft, and infact innovations of all time.
No airworthy harriers left i believe in the UK anyway = (

so according to the Völkischer Beobachter the scrapping of the Sea Harrier was all down to the RAF……..didn’t know they made defence policy, my understanding was that the GRs were binned in favour of the Tonkas because they had little airframe hours left and had been worked to destruction in Afg – still, I’m sure the ‘journalists’ at the VB know better
